Katie Turner will be hosting a Sashiko workshop at our February 8th Zoom meeting. 

We will be making coasters as our project.
For each coaster you will need:
One 5” square that reads solid (traditional Sashiko would be navy, but who says we have to be traditional??) One 5” square for the backing & one 5” square of batting.
Sashiko or DMC embroidery thread in a contrasting color to your solid.
Katie will have white Sashiko thread available for purchase for $3/skein if anyone wants it. Please email her directly if you would like some.
Sewing needle for embroidery.
Sewing machine for finishing.
