This month is a Members Teaching Members Workshop with Ingrid who will be teaching us how to create her Fish Applique quilt using Laura Heine's Techniques.

No sewing machine necessary.

You will need the following supplies:

1/2 yards of background fabric or low volume pieced background

1 yard of fabric scraps -dark, medium, light of two main colors Use a variety of small and medium scale patterns.

1 yard of steam a seam 2 fusible

Rotary cutter, Cutting mat, Ruler, and Iron

Applique Pressing sheet: Bear Thread or June Taylor or any teflon coated non stick pressing mat.
Very Helpful : Light box. (In a pinch Ingrid used a flashlight under her sew steady table.)

Finished fish will be approximately 20" X 5" Ingrid will have an assortment of fish available or feel free to print out a fish outline of your choice.
